Are you referring to this place? If so, I second the recommendation.

Ok, now that I look at the menu, you might want to call ahead and see if any main dishes (aside from the ashak, which, as it happens, is delicious) can be made vegetarian. But the really important thing is the pumpkin appetizer.

Dude, kaddo and rice is a fine meal :D Plus they were very willing to bring a plate of their various roasted vegemotrons.

That place is amazing. When I was there (a year or so ago) we were overwhelmed over the selection for vegetarians (I think they stated on the menu they did substitutions.)

Two other vegetarian restaurants in Baltimore I love are Liquid Earth (http://www.liquidearth.com/) and One World Cafe. Golden West has a great selection for vegetarians and amazing tater tots.

I miss Baltimore.

PS. Liquid Earth is walkable from the Inner Harbor, not so much for the other two places I mentioned.

Perhaps, but I could also have some in Boston (well, Cambridge) or NY! Well, unless the Helmand in Cambridge closed down.
