I hear that. Same goes for being actively expected to guess successfully, especially in a situation riddled with hidden information and active, recent trauma. Depending on the nature of your interaction with someone it can seriously not matter who gets the blame when if that expectation isn't met: it's awful, but what can you do until someone learns to stop taking it out on whoever works? Exuding safeness doesn't fix it because if you were "safe" to them you'd have guessed right.

Starts feeling like Disney's evil twin showed up and it's not even okay to talk about that. And unfortunately, it can make someone else actively unsafe for you and you end up in a "which kind of survivor is more approved of?" situation in your social groups.

I'm honestly not sure what can be done about it. And to be honest, next time I encounter it in someone close to me, I intend to run while I can because I can't afford to go there again.
