Well, the version of the top-level piece on catamorphism.org is really only there so that links would work (I didn't want to change all the internal links to point to the DW post instead). So on GF, I linked here so people could see all the comments. It's all kind of arbitrary (I would have rather not made more than one copy of anything, but my Web-programming skills are not good enough for anything but copy and paste).
