I'm looking for ways of talking about it / understanding it that don't imply that I have a pretty well-defined psychological condition that I'm pretty sure I don't have (when other people say they're triggered, I take their word for it (well, usually; I don't take transphobic self-described feminists' word for it when they say that trans women trigger them by existing); I just don't think they're experiencing exactly what I'm experiencing even though there are some similarities). [personal profile] juli's comment below is an example of what I was looking for, but yours is helpful as well.
