"I don't believe that phalloplasties yield sexually satisfactory results" - you may not believe it but I have heard from a few people for whom this surgery had very sexually satisfactory results. Whether they'd be sexually satisfactory for you is a whole other matter that I certainly hope you'd be the expert on. (Probably not your intent but your wording indicates that other people who have gotten and enjoyed this surgery are wrong to think they like it, which is kinda wtf.)
On queer theory - best definition I've heard is that it's the study of social issues through a queer lens.
