Right, well, at least you can go to the bank, and certainly a trans-Atlantic flight would be challenging but at least you can do it (of course, maybe it would cost more than you have in your account!) Dropbox, and probably some other companies like it, says "nope, we're not even going to grant you access if you show up at our office with government-issued ID". It's also worse since unlike banks, cloud service providers don't tend to have local branch offices.
