So I went back and found that email that I wrote you in 2012 when you asked me which album to start with, and it turns out that although I said that The Sunset Tree was my favorite (and it still is), I also added, "I think that seeing them live is an essential part of the Mountain Goats experience, though." So I'm glad that my advice seems to have held up -- and I'm really, really glad that you got to go on this trip and do this, and that it went as amazingly as I could have hoped. Hooray!
