I was just noticing that my Facebook group memberships make me seem pretty negative:
Boycott Whole Foods
Cancel Student Loan Debt to Stimulate the Economy
Technology Haters
One Million Shoes for George W. Bush
Close the CAMH Gender Identity Clinic
Amazonfail
Reviewer 2 Must Be Stopped!
Dislike option
I Still Think Marriage is the Wrong Goal
Grad Students: they're Not Bad People, they Just Made Terrible Life Choices
Every Time You Write in Passive Voice, a Kitten Is Killed
JOIN TO PUT A STOP TO CONTROVERSIAL ISSUES
Select One: My gender is none of facebook's business
Tear out your lawn!
Pointers are not booleans!
SEX WITH YOUR BIKE IS NOT A CRIME
When I Leave A Group It Doesn't Mean I No Longer Support Its Aims (I noticed that the person who started this group has left it -- appropriately enough)
When I Join a Group It Doesn't Mean I'll Ever Support Its Aims
I've never met a poor libertarian. Have you?
Are You a Model? No Wait, You're an Idiot Who Got Dressed Up To Go To Lecture (Wellesley Chapter)

That's 21/49 groups opposing something. On the other hand, my group memberships do express my positive feelings about single-payer health care, Erin Judge, homeschool alumni, a Eugene-Vancouver high-speed rail corridor, the 2009 Habitat for Humanity Build-a-Thon, stumptuous.com, California high-speed rail, Eli's H2B AIDS Ride, the Helpdesk, allowing gays to give blood, queer men, CS people, abortion, the Sarong Theorem Archive, and the Science Center, so I don't seem totally negative.

OK, back to work.
