Oh, I'm not suggesting that we're intrinsically good at on-paper stuff rather than needing a grasp of the on-paper stuff to work through a little more formally what's going on. But yeah, Schroedinger's Rapist, both the way having been abused and not having been abused warp perceptions (and honestly? A lot of the time, not having been seems to leave you with less of a grasp on reality), what happens when it's rational to corrupt your own rationality to make sure you emulate irrationality accurately enough (see above)... there's a lot of complicated stuff, to the point where if it wasn't useful for programming I almost wish we stopped teaching basic propositional logic outright because what's the use of it?
